Collecting Little Art: Artkive PT II

A few weeks ago I shared my plan to preserve all of the paintings, crafts, drawings and keepsakes created by our MM over the years {here}.

After years of struggling over what to do with all of Madeline’s special creations, I finally found Artkive- a simple and easy-to-use service that will convert all your kids’ precious artwork into a beautiful hardcover book.

The process was SUPER easy start to finish: Artkive ships you an empty box with prepaid UPS label, you ship back your artwork, they professionally photograph and upload to your account- where you can arrange the order of photos and choose your cover art-, and then they ship back your book.

We received ours last week, and the quality truly exceeded my expectations. The book is beautiful, and is the perfect way to keep and display our favorite pieces of our girl’s art. And while I’m so happy to do away with the clutter of years of art, the best part of the process was MM’s pride over the final creation- she loves showing it off when family and friends stop by.
